Natural skin regeneration with deep effects - treatment with polynucleoids in Leipzig

Over the years, the skin loses elasticity, freshness, and moisture. Fine lines begin to appear, and the complexion looks tired and uneven. During this phase, many people desire a gentle, natural method to restore radiance to their skin—without radical procedures or an unnatural look.

An innovative solution is polynucleotide treatment. These so-called PN injections are considered a new milestone in aesthetic medicine: They specifically activate cell renewal, visibly improve skin texture, and revitalize your complexion – all without volume augmentation or muscle relaxation.

Who is polynucleotide treatment suitable for?

PN therapy is suitable for anyone who notices the first signs of skin aging and desires to improve skin's appearance, elasticity, and moisture levels. It is particularly effective for:

  • fine lines and tired skin

  • first wrinkles on the face, neck or décolleté

  • dry, sensitive or irritated skin

  • damaged skin due to sun or environmental factors

The treatment is also of interest to younger patients who wish to achieve a healthy, regenerated skin structure at an early stage – i.e. as a so-called preventative anti-aging measure.

How does polynucleotide treatment work?

Preparation

Before the first treatment, we conduct a personal consultation. We determine which skin areas need to be treated and what results you desire. At the same time, we assess your current skin condition to develop a customized treatment protocol.

No special preparation is necessary on your part. If you regularly take blood thinning medication, please mention this during the consultation. Active skin irritations or inflammation in the treatment area should also be treated beforehand.

Generally, no special preparation is necessary. If you are taking blood-thinning medication, please discuss this with us in advance. Skin irritations in the area to be treated should also be clarified in advance.

The treatment

Polynucleotide treatment is performed on an outpatient basis and takes approximately 20–30 minutes, depending on the area. The drug is injected directly into the superficial layer of the skin using a very fine needle—similar to mesotherapy. The injections are well-tolerated; upon request, we can apply an anesthetic cream beforehand.

The polynucleotides – purified DNA fragments from natural sources – specifically promote skin regeneration. They bind moisture, have an antioxidant effect, and activate fibroblasts, which are responsible for the formation of collagen and elastin.

This builds up the skin from the inside out, improves blood circulation and makes it visibly fresher.

After treatment

After the injection, slight redness, swelling, or minor bruising may occur. These are harmless and usually subside within a few hours to a few days.

The treated areas should not be massaged or touched heavily on the same day. We also recommend avoiding intense sun exposure, saunas, and exercise for the first 2–3 days.

For optimal results, two to three sessions spaced two to four weeks apart are usually recommended. After that, a touch-up every six months is usually sufficient to maintain the skin's regenerated condition.

What are the benefits of polynucleotide treatment?

Treatment with polynucleotides offers a gentle but highly effective way to noticeably improve skin quality – without increasing volume or causing rigid facial expressions:

  • Regeneration instead of backfilling

  • Improvement of elasticity, tone and skin appearance

  • Moisturizing and antioxidant

  • Natural, fresh look

  • No downtime

  • Also suitable for sensitive skin

If you're looking for fresh, vibrant skin—without excessive procedures—PN treatment may be just what you need. We'd be happy to advise you personally.

Risks of polynucleotide treatment

Treatment with polynucleotides is considered to be very well tolerated and low-risk. Because these are bioactive substances that are thoroughly purified and processed, allergic reactions are extremely rare. As with any injection, minor side effects such as redness, swelling, or small bruising at the injection sites may occur. These usually subside quickly.

Infections or severe reactions are extremely unlikely when performed correctly by experienced practitioners. It is important to protect the treated areas after the injection and follow the skincare recommendations. If you have any concerns or experience unusual reactions, we are of course available to assist you at any time.
