Procedure for your breast lift in Leipzig
Before the operation
During a personal consultation in Leipzig, Dr. Graß will take plenty of time to understand your expectations. He will explain the procedure, the appropriate technique, and the expected results transparently. Blood-thinning medications should be discontinued beforehand—after consulting your doctor. Alcohol and nicotine should be avoided if possible before and after surgery.
Operation
Breast lift surgery is usually performed under general anesthesia. Depending on the extent of the procedure, it takes 1.5 to 3 hours. Dr. Graß removes excess skin, repositions the glandular and fatty tissue, and, if necessary, repositions the nipples to their original, aesthetic position. In some cases, an "internal bra" is applied – a special technique for long-term stabilization of the new breast shape.
The incision is usually made around the areola and perpendicular to the inframammary fold. In certain cases, an additional incision along the inframammary fold may be necessary.
Aftercare
After the procedure, you will wear a special compression bra for several weeks. Physical rest and avoiding pressure on the breasts are important. Sports activities, saunas, swimming pool visits, and sun exposure should be avoided for several weeks. The first follow-up appointment will take place the day after surgery – Dr. Graß will closely monitor you throughout the entire healing phase.
